SEALTRON COMPLETES RECERTIFICATION FOR EN2997 Y & E HERMETICALLY SEALED RECEPTICLES

CINCINNATI, OH, January X, 2012—Sealtron, Inc, a unit of AMETEK HCC Interconnect Technologies, has completed the steps required by the ASD-CERT mandated body for the recertification of EN 2997 Y and YE hermetically sealed receptacles. ASD-CERT is a non-profit association that qualifies standard aerospace products and approves the quality system used in their manufacture.
Sealtron, which will continue to manufacture qualified EN 2997 parts while the re-qualification documentation is completed at ASD-CERT, offers EN2997Y1, EN2997Y0, EN2997Y7, EN2997YE1, EN2997YE0 and EN 2997YE7 in shell sizes from 8 to 28. All items that are classified to Class Y are suitable for operations from -65º Celsius to + 200º Celsius, while Class YE is suitable for cyclical operations from -65o Celsius to +260o Celsius.
